I'm using Outbreak! as instructed and NO3 is not dropping.
Outbreak! will not eliminate already present nitrate (NO3). In other words, the bacteria in Outbreak! do not consume NO3 in the way we see bacteria consume ammonia (NH3) and nitrite (NO2). Outbreak! is not an instant fix to the overall NO3 problem in the aquarium. Over time, the consistent use of Outbreak! will overpower organics and make a noticeable difference in the overall water quality of the aquarium. The time it takes can vary from days to weeks to months depending on the organic load in the system. Patience finds the pot of gold with Outbreak!
