I read that bacteria and enzymes are bad for carbon, why not Supernova?

Bacteria and enzymes are only bad for pellet carbons, as they are basically carbon dust held together by organic binders.  Supernova is a bituminous carbon held together in its natural state and will not break down in the aquarium.  This allows bacteria and enzymes to reside in and flourish in the carbon as it filters, removing unwanted organics from the system.
