Outbreak! will not eliminate already present nitrate (NO3). In other words, the bacteria in Outbreak! do not consume NO3 in the way we see bacteria consume ammonia (NH3) and nitrite (NO2). Outbreak! is not an instant fix to the overall NO3 problem in the aquarium....
